There is so much to do and visit in Rimini, from our Park Hotel Serena in Viserbella in but a few minutes you can reach the historical city centre and discover one by one our ancient city’s art treasures. From the Arch of Augustus to the Bridge of Tiberius, your walk across the city will unveil the many wonders kept inside the city walls.
Outdoor archelogical sites are located all across the main road leading to Piazza Ferrari, where the Surgeon’s House is situated: an ancient roman house that belonged to a surgeon. Inside you will find 150 surgery tools, carefully preserved over the centuries.
The Malatesta Temple, commissioned by Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta to Leon Battista Alberti, stores the Crucifix of Giotto from Rimini and a fresco from Piero della Francesca. In Malatesta Square stands tall Rimini lord’s ancient fortress, known as Castel Sismondo or Rocca Malatestiana, and in front of it stands the Galli Theatre that recently reopened its door after years of painstaking renovation that brought it back to its former glory.
In addition to its bustling summer nightlife on the seaside, thanks to its bars and chiringuitos on the beach, Rimini offers history and culture as well. Events take place one after the other all across the year, from Marina Centro to the city centre, and they will show you a city that has so much offer and tell through its culture, tradition and fun.
