HERE ARE
SOME EXAMPLES OF THE ITINERARIES...
On arrival at the hotel you will find many other interesting
and exciting itineraries to help you enjoy your super sports week. |
PEDALS
AND SMIILE...
These routes never cover a distance of more
than 60 km and the pace is fairly slow. They are
specially designed for cyclists who wish to discover the beauty
of the hinterland, along with others who share their same passion
for invigorating excursions and their same level of fitness too.
Everyone leaves and returns together and a racing
bike is not essential. These excursions
aren’t too tiring and the day is spent with friends,
surrounded by the natural beauty of the hinterland with its castles,
fortresses, spectacular views, a few uphill climbs and plenty
of downhill stretches! The opportunity to taste local
delicacies completes this programme designed for
real connoisseurs.
VISERBELLA – TOWER OF SAN MAURO
De From Viserbella, this route crosses the A-road and
leads to San Vito before continuing towards San Mauro
Pascoli.
It leads past the Tower, the recently restored, former Torlonia
estate that was the scene of the plight of the dapple-grey
filly, narrated by the great poet Pascoli in his famous poem.
The route is fairly easy and pleasant as it is fairly flat and
winds its way through rolling countryside covered in orchards
and vineyards.

GREEN WHEELS
These routes are up
to 100 km long and are covered at a medium-slow
pace; a “soft” approach to climbs and a cheerful group
spirit that ensures nobody is left behind.
They are perfect for cyclists that also enjoy the pleasures of
the landscape, beautiful countryside and good
food. Infact, there are lots of “trattorias”
in the hills... a real temptation!
VISEBELLA - SAN MARINO
This route leads to Rimini and from there to Casetti
and San Paolo along Via Covignano that
has several hairpin bends.
It then continues towards Serravalle before climbing
steeply to San Marino, with its medieval architecture
and breathtaking views.
On the return journey, following the stretch of road downhill
to Acquaviva, the route leads to Ponte Verucchio
then Corpolò before climbing to San Paolo,
passing Casetti and then descending to Rimini.
Viserbella is really close so..... welcome back to the
Park Hotel Serena!

RED-HOT
HANDLEBARS...
These routes are for real enthusiasts and are up to 120
km long, covered at a medium-fast pace,
up and down the hills of Romagna. They
are only for the fittest cyclists who want to use their holiday
to enjoy the beautiful countryside and

VISERBA-SAN LEO
We’re off on this demanding but satisfying route past places
that boast a rich history and spectacular panoramic views along
tarmac roads and under perfect conditions.
The route leads to Rimini where it continues along the
Marecchiese road as far as Novafeltria.
This is where it starts to climb but there are plenty of resting
places along the way. Still further ahead, at Ponte Baffoni,
the route turns left and climbs to Maiolo and further
still towards Pugliano and San Leo, an extraordinarily
beautiful village with a fortress on a cliff overlooking the Marecchia
Valley. The route then descends slowly towards Pietracuta
before taking the Marecchiese road again as far as Rimini
and Viserbella.
